Rules & Regulations

Please read the following rules carefully. All participants must adhere to these guidelines.

All players must carry valid government-issued ID proof during trials and matches.

Registration fee is non-refundable once payment is confirmed.

Players must report 30 minutes before scheduled trial/match time.

FCF reserves the right to modify tournament schedule and rules.

Players are responsible for their own cricket gear during trials and matches.

Fair play and sportsmanship are expected at all times.

Any misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.

Decision of the selectors and umpires will be final.

Rules

Teams: 48

Groups: 12

Format: 4 teams in each group

Team squad : 15

Every player would be play

Group Stage

Each group has 4 teams.

Every team plays against the other 3 teams in their group once.

Total matches per group: 6

Total group-stage matches: 72

Points System

Win = 2 points

Tie/No Result = 1 point each or Super over decision depends on management

Loss = 0 points

Qualification

Option 1 (Simple & Balanced):

Top team from each group qualifies = 12 teams

Best 4 second-placed teams also qualify

Total qualified teams = 16

Knockout Stage

Round of 16

16 teams → 8 winners

Quarter Finals

8 teams → 4 winners

Semi Finals

4 teams → 2 winners

Winners of semi-finals play the final

If teams have equal points:

Match Rules

Format: T10 / 10 overs per side (or your preferred format)

Powerplay: First 3 overs included impact over

Super Over in knockout matches if tied

Group matches can end in tie/no result

Discipline Rules

Umpire decision is final

*Late arrival over 20 minutes = walkover

*Unsporting behavior can lead to suspension immediately on the spot

It is mandatory for all players in the team squad to participate in the tournament.

Bowlers specification

Minimum 5 bowlers are mandatory & can bowl 2 over each

Wicket keeper is not allowed to bowl

First 4 batsman are not allowed to bowl

1 Bouncer per over is allowed

Compulsory rules

Players wearing only provided jersey to the management

Player wearing shorts not allowed to play

Player without shoes not allowed to play

The Ball rules

Starts 2 balls per team

If used ball lost, new ball will be provided

Innings time rule

Each innings has to be completed within 45 minute from the start of innings, 2 minutes break after 5 over..

It is responsibility of both captains to ask the innings start time from the umpires.

Who can register for the tournament?

Anyone above 14 years who is passionate about cricket can register. We welcome players from all states across India.

What is the registration process?

Step 1: Fill the online registration form. Step 2: Complete the payment of ₹1000. Step 3: Wait for trial notification. Step 4: Attend trials. Step 5: If selected, play in the tournament.

When and where are the trials?

Trial dates will be communicated via email and WhatsApp to all registered and paid players. Trials will be held in Ludhiana, Punjab.

Is the registration fee refundable?

No, the registration fee is non-refundable once the payment is confirmed. However, if the tournament is cancelled by FCF, full refunds will be issued.

What should I bring for trials?

You should bring your cricket gear (bat, gloves, shoes), valid ID proof, and your registration confirmation email/SMS.

Can I register as multiple specialities?

No, you can only register for one speciality. Choose the role that best represents your cricket skills.
